My Approach
My approach to counseling is highly personable and individualized to you and your needs. I work with clients to build insight into thoughts and behaviors impacting symptoms, and to collaboratively establish steps towards dedicated change in their life. Clients engaging in ERP report significant improvements in OCD symptoms and through work with me you can also experience those successes.
Who I Help
My clients are kids, teens, and adults of all ages. I see client’s for individual counseling via Telehealth (video) and involve parents and families as helpful for each individual client. I help clients who are struggling with anxiety, OCD, and life transitions. So many time fear, worry, and intrusive thoughts control my client’s lives until they start seeing me. Through our work together, clients gain insight and begin to make meaningful changes to positively impact their life.
I also work with parents on strategies to navigate their child’s mental health challenges utilizing Supportive Parents for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE). This parent training can help parents with kids of all ages (including parents of adult children) even if a child is not willing to coming to counseling themselves!
